Target Audience: Motorsport participants, event organizers, and community members interested in safety and first aid
Program Overview:
10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Registration & Welcome Coffee
Participants will sign in and receive event materials, including a schedule and safety guidelines. Light refreshments will be provided.
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Opening Remarks & Importance of Safety in Motorsports
The event will commence with a brief introduction to the significance of safety in motorsports, highlighting the association’s commitment to promoting safe practices.
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: First Aid Basics – Recognizing & Responding to Injuries
A certified first aid instructor will lead a session on basic first aid skills, including how to recognize and respond to common injuries in motorsports. Participants will learn techniques such as CPR, wound care, and injury assessment.
12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch Break
A break for participants to relax and network. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Safety Protocols – Pre-Event Checks & Emergency Procedures
A session focusing on the safety measures essential before and during motorsport events. Topics will include vehicle safety checks, emergency evacuation plans, and communication protocols.
2:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Practical Demonstration – First Aid Response in a Motorsport Scenario
Participants will engage in a hands-on demonstration, practicing first aid response in a simulated motorsport accident scenario. This exercise will reinforce the skills learned earlier in the day.
3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Q&A Session & Closing Remarks
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss safety concerns. The event will conclude with a summary of key takeaways and information on future safety training sessions.
